About Me
Hi, Iām Juliana Litts, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Vocologist, and a nationally known educator who specializes in behavioral management of voice, breathing and cough complaints.
In my almost 15 years of working in this specialty, I have worked at four different academic voice and swallowing centers including the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center, the UC Davis Center for Voice and Swallowing, the University of Colorado Department of Otolaryngology and the Mount Sinai Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center. I train graduate students, clinical fellows and surgical residents, as well as experienced clinicians around the country in the evaluation and treatment of voice, breathing and cough complaints.
In addition to my clinical work, I have published research in peer-reviewed journals, authored book chapters, and presented nationally and internationally on voice and breathing rehabilitation.
I currently provide free education and mentorship to future speech-language pathologists who are interested in pursuing a career in the specialty of voice and upper airway disorders.
I hold a current certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as professional licenses in California, Colorado, Illinois and New York.
